Summary: To process (analyze) Laboratory Specimens
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure the timely processing of patient specimens byperforming duties per federal, state, certifying agencies, and Shiel Medical Laboratory Requirements
Process STATS
Read and understand Department Procedure Manuals
Complete the current and pending workload
Maintain Instruments
Attend OSHA Trainings Yearly
Demonstrate the ability to set priorities
Perform and document Quality Control Procedures
Actively participate in the analysis of NYSDOH testing
Performs testing in a timely manner and maintain standards set forth for STAT Testing
You will perform test proficiently under general supervision.
